DevBatch LLC is a Texas-based engineering services and staffing firm. Founded 2012. We staff and ship for VP Engineering teams at Series A through Fortune 1000 — and the procurement workflows that come with both ends of that range.
Our story
Why DevBatch exists
DevBatch was founded in 2012 by Waqas Khan Pitafi. The premise was simple and has not changed: senior engineering capacity is the bottleneck for most growing companies, and the standard offshore model does not solve it — it just shifts the cost.
So we built the opposite. A US LLC out of Texas. Senior engineers as employees, not 1099 contractors. Time-zone overlap as the default, not the upgrade. Direct communication and clean contracts so procurement does not have to fight us to approve the work.
Fourteen years later, we run staff augmentation alongside full delivery teams for companies from Series A startups to Fortune 1000. The model works because we stayed disciplined about what it is — and what it is not.

Waqas founded DevBatch in 2012. He runs the company from Texas and works directly with new clients on staffing matches and engineering scoping.
